Description
Development of a product configurator for the medical devices company Topcon. This configurator, intended for mobile devices, tablets in particular, features a highly customizable product as it is possible to personalize the workspace through the interface by adding or removing all the devices available in this model. The configurations are 3D representations of the model which can be viewed in 360º in order not to lose any details. There are other types of configurations such as the orientation of the position or the ability to choose the colour of the ambient LED lights.
Challenge
The major challenge of this project was being able to represent all the possible configurations in 3D taking into account all the equipment that can be personalized, the two possible orientations and the different LED light colours.
Solution
A graphic interface was created to be able to activate and deactivate the different elements in the configurator viewer. Multiple combinations in various views had to be created so that that configuration could be viewed in 360º. All this involved a lot of development time in 3D which was later programmed so that it appeared as the user configured it.
